The Michael Jackson
Wrestling Scholarship
The Michael Jackson Wrestling Scholarship was created in memory of Christopher Michael Jackson, who died in 2002, at the age of 20. The scholarship is awarded annually to a Woodford County (Kentucky) High School senior wrestler who demonstrates many of the qualities exhibited by Michael as a student athlete. Michael’s relentless determination, unceasing work ethic, team spirit, exemplary sportsmanship, and respect for his coaches, teammates, referees, and opponents made him a true champion.
